About our Caregivers

Our Caregivers

Our services are of a non-medical nature; therefore, our caregivers are not required to be registered nurses. This allows us to offer affordable in-home care at a fraction of the cost of a registered nurse. Our caregivers are totally committed, highly qualified and carefully selected individuals who are personally and thoroughly screened. Criminal background checks, prior work experience and a minimum of three personal reference checks are all a part of our hiring process. All Caregivers are trained according to the Pennsylvania Department of Aging guidelines and our Agency’s own 60 hour training program which includes CPR and First Aid Certification. Additionally, all caregivers have completed a pre-employment physical, TB Test and are cleared of communicable diseases prior to their start date. Most importantly, our caregivers are dependable individuals who are extremely compassionate and caring of others. Caregivers of Guardian Angel Home Care Services, Inc. are employees of our Company and not subcontractors. They are all tax payers and are covered under our Company’s insurance and bonding. Our caregivers are carefully selected based on their expertise and willingness to treat our clients with respect and dignity; like family.
